This role combines HR specialist responsibilities with HR coordinator-level administrative support, ensuring efficient execution of onboarding, employee records management, HR transactions, compliance activities, and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of balancing administrative tasks with HR support.\nHuman Resources Support\nSupport employee relations activities by responding to employee inquiries and escalating issues as appropriate.\nAssist managers with HR policies, procedures, and workforce-related questions.\nCoordinate recruiting activities including job requisitions, candidate scheduling, interviews, and pre-employment processes.\nFacilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires.\nAssist with leave administration, accommodations, and return-to-work processes.\nMaintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.\nHR Administration\nProcess employee transactions in HRIS systems including hires, transfers, promotions, pay changes, and terminations.\nMaintain personnel files and ensure HR records are accurate and up to date.\nPrepare employment verification requests, HR correspondence, and employee documentation.\nCoordinate new hire paperwork and onboarding requirements.\nTrack attendance programs, employee recognition activities, and training records.\nSupport benefits administration and annual open enrollment activities.\nGenerate HR reports, metrics, and workforce data as requested.\nAssist with audits and compliance reporting.\nEmployee Engagement\nSupport employee communication programs and engagement initiatives.\nCoordinate employee events, recognition programs, and wellness activities.\nPartner with site leadership to promote a positive workplace culture.\nYOU HAVE:\nRequired\nAssociate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience considered.\n2-3+ years of Human Resources experience.\nExperience maintaining confidential employee information.\nStrong administrative, organizational, and customer service skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nWorkday systems experience.\nPreferred\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.\nExperience supporting HR functions in a manufacturing environment.\nPHR, SHRM-CP, or other HR certification.\nKey Competencies\nConfidentiality and professionalism\nAttention to detail\nOrganization and prioritization\nCustomer service mindset\nProblem solving\nCollaboration and teamwork\nAdaptability and continuous improvement\nWE HAVE:\nA dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day\nnVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
