Design and develop scalable, modular, and optimized Test Automation Architectures tailored for embedded systems in industrial cooling and power distribution domains.\n2. Define automation standards, patterns, reusable test components, and framework guidelines.\n3. Lead end-to-end design of automated test suites\n4. nsure comprehensive test coverage across integration, system, regression, and environmental testing.\n5. Define and monitor quality KPIs including: Defect detection efficiency, Automation execution coverage, Protocol timing/throughput metrics, Framework reliability and maintainability\n6. Continuously optimize execution time, test reliability, and CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test suites.\n7. Lead by example in complex test strategy decisions and in developing technically challenging automation workflows.\n8. Drive the team toward achieving an accelerated Automation Roadmap with measurable milestones.\nRequired Skills & Experience\nTechnical Skills\n10-15 years of experience in Embedded Software Testing, including hands-on automation.\nStrong expertise in:\nPython (advanced scripting and framework development), Robot Framework, Selenium for Web UI automation.\nDeep understanding of:\nBSP, bootloaders, kernel-level behavior\nLow-level firmware/driver interactions\nEmbedded protocols (Modbus, CAN, RS485, etc.)\nExperience with hardware tools & debugging instruments.\nStrong understanding of CI/CD pipelines\nLeadership Skills\nAbility to drive technical strategy and automation engineering vision.\nStrong mentoring and team development capabilities.\nExcellent communication, analytical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s or Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or related field.\nISTQB Certification (optional but beneficial).\nWorking knowledge of C/C++ for firmware comprehension.\nWE HAVE:\nA dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day\nnVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
