This position supports Continuous Improvement initiatives through participation in Kaizen events and provides leadership, coaching, and support to production employees while helping maintain a safe and efficient work environment.\nWHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:\nOperate production and assembly equipment to meet production requirements.\nFollow and perform periodic product inspection procedures.\nMonitor, troubleshoot, and maintain optimal machine operating speeds.\nComplete daily production reports and downtime documentation.\nPerform daily autonomous maintenance procedures.\nParticipate in Continuous Improvement and Kaizen activities.\nMaintain 5S standards throughout the work area.\nMonitor and coach production employees to ensure work is performed safely and efficiently while meeting production and quality standards.\nEnforce company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.\nStretch-wrap finished goods pallets.\nPrint production labels and related documentation. \nPerform other duties as assigned.\nProvide day-to-day direction, training, and support to team members on the production floor.\nYOU HAVE:\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nAbility to operate production and assembly equipment.\nAbility to use basic inspection equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.\nBasic shop math skills.\nWillingness to work overtime as needed.\nAbility to perform a variety of job duties.\nAbility to communicate effectively with coworkers and work collaboratively as part of a team.\nAbility to work independently and make sound decisions.\nAbility to train and coach others on job-related tasks.\nAbility to understand and follow verbal and written work instructions.\nAbility to understand and follow verbal and written safety instructions.\nAbility to operate a forklift.\nPrevious manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience preferred.\nDemonstrated leadership experience or ability to lead and develop team members.\nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.\nWE HAVE:\nA dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day\nnVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance.
