Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.\nWHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:\nDevelop, implement, and oversee maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.\nPlan and schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure efficient performance of equipment and facilities.\nSupervise and lead a team, providing mentorship, training, and support.\nLead core maintenance metrics (Mean Time To Repair & Mean Time Between Failure).\nManage the Daily Management System for the maintenance department.\nPartner with the EHS leader to enforce workforce safety (LOTO, Machine Guarding, etc.).\nAlign maintenance schedules with production and operations teams to limit output loss and increase thruput.\nPartner with the Plant Manager to transition the plant from reactive to predictive maintenance.\nSupport and lead maintenance team KPI’s and quality of work.\nConduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues or potential problems.\nManage the maintenance budget, including procurement of spare parts and maintenance supplies.\nEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.\nCollaborate with other departments to support production and operational goals.\nMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and maintenance logs.\nImplement and lead a preventive maintenance program to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce the risk of breakdowns.\nCoordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and repair services.\nOversee building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, security and grounds maintenance.\nResponsible for emergency response and after-hours support in the plant.\nManage site improvement projects.\nYOU HAVE:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field, preferred.\nExperience as a Maintenance leader or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.\nStrong knowledge of maintenance management systems and standard methodologies.\nExcellent leadership and team management capabilities with a collaborative approach that motivates and engages team to achieve operational excellence.\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with a high degree of tact and professionalism.\nStrong focus on equipment reliability, preventative maintenance, and predictive maintenance, best practices.\nProficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.\nKnowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.\nAbilities to meet the physical and environmental demands:\nAbility to walk and stand for extended periods.\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.\nAbility to work in a manufacturing and industrial facility environment.\nThis role involves pushing, pulling, twisting, climbing, stooping, kneeling and crawling.\nWE HAVE:\nA dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day\nnVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
