The Team Lead will assign work orders, direct technicians to emergency breakdowns, assist in plant projects, and assign preventative maintenance tasks. The Team Lead will be able to perform complex troubleshooting and analysis of any plant related issues.\nKey role responsibilities\nAssign routine and preventative maintenance on CNC machines, automation equipment, stamping presses and basic industrial machinery.\nWork directly with the Maintenance Manager and take ownership of plant projects.\nAssist and perform complex troubleshooting, modification, and repair of production machinery and equipment.\nTrain technicians on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting and repairs.\nAbility to access and understand PLC’s.\nAssist Manufacturing Engineering with all plant projects as needed.\nMust be able to communicate effectively with other Team Leads, Engineering, Supervisors and outside vendors regarding projects and repair problems.\nCMMS shared ownership with Maintenance Manager.\nAssign and direct technicians to install, repair, and maintain a wide variety of production and building equipment.\nAssign and perform complex work on interior and exterior building/facilities equipment such as air compressors, HVAC units, lighting/fans, alarm systems and facilities restrooms.\nCoordinate large machinery moves and installations.\nWork proficiently from engineering drawings, schematics, maintenance work orders, or manufacturers manuals.\nProvide direct support for plant safety as needed.\nUse basic hand and power tools, machine tools and precision measuring equipment.\nPerform other job duties as assigned.\nQualifications and Experience\nHigh school diploma or technical trade school certification required.\n10+ years of industrial maintenance experience.\nStrong leadership skills.\nStrong troubleshooting skills necessary, with the ability to make informed decisions.\nGood organizational skills with strong attention to detail.\nCMMS and computer skills required.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced; multi-tasking environment and meet operational deadlines.\nMust be self-motivated, safety and quality conscious, and work efficiently with minimal supervision.\nFork truck operator experience required.\nHeavy lifting required within regulations.\nAble to work overtime regularly and with minimal notice to meet business needs.\nGood communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment.\nWE HAVE:\nA dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day\nnVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
