Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.\nWHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:\nConfer with Lead person to confirm job requirements and quantities, and review prints as needed to verify configuration and dimensions\nCheck epoxy powder tank; add powder as needed and spread with rake.\nBuff copper bars and apply masking material, then clean the bars and hang them on the machine rack.\nEnter commands to activate pre-programmed machine instructions.\nManipulate controls and enter commands to start oven.\nObserve and listen to machine operation to detect malfunctions; notify supervisor of any issues.\nMeasure and inspect pieces for conformance to specifications and notify supervisor of any discrepancies\nVerify that the correct quantity has been produced.\nPerform ongoing housekeeping duties to clean machine, and keep work area clear of scrap and debris\nOther duties as assigned\nYOU HAVE:\nBasic ability to read tape measure to 1/16th and prints.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAble to effectively prioritize work based on production schedules and changing needs.\nAble to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members.\nAble to achieve forklift certification and safely operate a forklift.\nAble to manually lift items up to 40 lbs. and spend most of each shift standing and walking in a non-air-conditioned production environment.\nWE HAVE:\nA dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day\nnVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
