Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.\nWHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE:\nProject Oversight:\nManage a portfolio of projects varying in size and value, ensuring each project's success from inception to post-delivery.\nDesign Coordination:\nEvaluate sales handoff packages to verify design accuracy, scope alignment, and feasibility.\nDirect the creation and approval of Structural Design Packages, leading a team of CAD and Structural Design Engineers.\nCollaborate with the Lead Electrical Engineer to develop Electrical Design Packages, ensuring customer requirements are fully integrated.\nChange and Quality Management:\nProcess and implement feedback from customers, professional engineers, and state approval bodies, issuing precise redlines to CAD teams for revision.\nFacilitate quality control checklists and reviews to ensure readiness before production starts.\nSupply Chain and Scheduling:\nMonitor lead times and delivery schedules for critical non-stock items, proactively addressing potential delays with the purchasing team.\nProvide regular schedule updates to customers, including delay notifications or adjustments for accelerated timelines.\nProduction and Delivery Coordination:\nPartner with shop supervisors to ensure on-time production and high-quality outcomes.\nCollaborate with Site and Delivery Coordinators to arrange transportation, secure required permits, and ensure safe delivery to customer sites.\nCustomer Service:\nServe as the primary customer liaison for all post-delivery service issues, including HVAC performance, missing materials, or transport-related damage.\nTrack and manage service tickets through resolution, ensuring timely and effective customer support.\nChange Order Management:\nPrepare and issue change orders, working with the Estimating Department and Lead Electrical Engineer to provide customers with updated pricing and scope adjustments. Provide support to the Finance team as they resolve accounts and purchase orders.\nYOU HAVE:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field. Combination of education and experience will be considered.\n3+ years of experience preferred.\nProject Management experience in Manufacturing/ Commercial/ Industrial projects preferred.\nFamiliarity with blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics, with the ability to understand project requirements and communicate effectively with engineering and production teams preferred.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to interface and influence at all levels with internal and external customers.\nStrong leadership and project management skills.\nAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.\nWE HAVE:\nA dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day\nnVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
