Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.\nWHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:\nPerforming comprehensive product inspections based on criteria defined in work instructions, checklists, and drawings.\n\nPrioritizing tasks as established by the Operations Supervisors to maintain efficiency and meet departmental deliverable goals.\n\nIdentifying non-conforming products that do not meet predefined requirements.\n\nInitiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) in response to discoveries of non-conforming products.\n\nEnsuring there are no active NCRs before completing a product inspection to maintain strict quality control and compliance.\n\nApplying precision and non-precision gauges, meters, tools, or devices to determine conformance to the relevant acceptance criteria.\n\nYOU HAVE:\nHigh school diploma or G.E.D.\n\n1 year experience in the quality process and experience with Quality Management Systems preferred.\n\n1 year experience using precision metal fabrication measurement tools and techniques preferred.\n\nAbility to use precision measuring equipment (e.g., Calipers, micrometer, paint mil gauges, hardness tester, CMM, measuring tables, optical comparators, functional testers, etc.).\n\nAbility to effectively organize, plan workload and work in a self-directed manner.\n\nAbility to utilize good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface with people across multiple functional areas within the company.\n\nAbility to interpret and apply Quality System / ISO procedures and documentation.\n\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.\n\nSkills to quickly learn and operate a wide variety of test and measurement equipment.\n\nSkills in attention to detail and accuracy.\n\nAbility to apply appropriate math and geometry.\n\nSkill in using personal computers including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).\n\nWE HAVE:\nA dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day\nnVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance.
