Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.\nWHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:\nPerform receiving, first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of materials, parts, assemblies, and custom-fabricated finished products.\nRead and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, specifications, and tolerances to determine inspection requirements.\nVerify critical dimensions, hole locations, circumference, bend locations and angles, part orientation, fit, and other specified characteristics against blueprint requirements.\nInspect products for workmanship issues such as weld quality, paint quality, and other nonconforming conditions.\nIdentify, document, and communicate nonconforming items to appropriate personnel.\nAssist with the disposition and control of nonconforming product to prevent unintended use or shipment.\nSupport investigation of quality issues and participate in root-cause and corrective action activities.\nWork directly with production personnel to address quality concerns and clarify blueprint or specification requirements.\nEnsure inspection and measurement equipment is properly maintained and within required calibration status before use.\nFollow established ISO procedures, work instructions, and documentation requirements, and support continuous improvement activities focused on improving product quality.\nYOU HAVE:\nStrong ability to read blueprints, fabrication drawings, dimensions, and tolerances. GD&T knowledge is a plus.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to accurately read and calculate tape measurements to 1/16”.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally and diplomatically with production employees, management, and customers.\nWilling to work second shift.\nAble to use precision measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometer, paint mill gauges, etc.).\nAbility to read and interpret policies, procedures, product specifications, and drawings, and draw conclusions.
