Your role primarily involves using nVent products to design systems tailored to customer requirements. You will also provide technical advice and support the sales team in the quoting process.\nAnalyze customer documentation: requirements documents, construction drawings, 2D prints, and 3D models.\n\nDesign custom solutions based on customer requirements in any of our core areas: Lightning protection, grounding, bonding, and flexible connections.\n\nProvide technical advice to aid in the development of an optimal solution for the customer.\n\nProduce engineering documentation for customer review and approval.\n\nSupport the sales team and the customer throughout the quoting process.\n\nWork with the manufacturing team during design and production phases.\n\nCollaborate with other engineers for deeper understanding of nVent products and applications.\n\nUse engineering design and simulation software tools.\n\nContinuously look for ways to simplify processes and enhance customer experience with engineering services, then guide those improvements from concept to implementation.\n\nYOU HAVE:\nAcademic background in Electrical Engineering (preferred), Mechanical Engineering, or other engineering (Architectural, Civil, Industrial, Metallurgical)\n\nPrevious experience in or with understanding technical requirements, using engineering software, and producing engineering documentation.\n\nIdeally 3+ years of experience in an engineering function.\n\nSkills: Computer e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office. Verbal and written communication in English.
