Come join the team and see how we can make a lasting impact on the world.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nIdentify bottlenecks in software development workflows, form testable hypotheses, and rapidly build prototypes that demonstrate measurable improvements in developer efficiency.\n\nDesign and implement AI-agent capabilities for tasks such as code generation, debugging, testing, knowledge retrieval, workflow automation, and long-running development tasks.\n\nCollaborate with software engineers, AI researchers, and infrastructure teams to integrate agent-based solutions into real NVIDIA development environments.\n\nEvaluate agent systems through reproducible experiments, analyzing reliability, accuracy, latency, resource usage, and the quality of generated code.\n\nTurn successful experiments into robust, maintainable Python software that can support broader engineering teams across NVIDIA.\n\nWhat we need to see:\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.\n\nStrong programming and software engineering skills, with particular proficiency in Python and the ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code.\n\nSolid understanding of core computer science topics, especially operating systems, computer networks, storage systems, concurrency, and distributed systems.\n\nStrong self-motivation and problem-solving ability, including a demonstrated capacity to discover meaningful problems, work independently, and validate ideas through rapid experimentation.\n\nGood written and spoken English skills, with the ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and collaborate in an international engineering environment.\n\nHands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar coding agents.\n\nWays to stand out from the crowd:\nExperience building AI agents, coding assistants, autonomous development workflows, or other tools that improve developer productivity.\n\nFamiliarity with agent frameworks and open-source projects such as Hermes, DeepSeek Harness, memory systems, or comparable agent runtimes and orchestration frameworks.\n\nExperience evaluating large language model applications, including prompt design, tool use, context management, memory, benchmarking, and reliability testing.\n\nContributions to open-source projects, technically ambitious personal projects, or examples of independently identifying and solving real developer problems.\n\nNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
