In this role, you will bring up new Android releases on NVIDIA hardware platforms, resolve complex system-level issues, and improve software quality through automated validation and AI-assisted engineering workflows.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nBring up, integrate, and upgrade Android OS releases on NVIDIA hardware platforms.\nDebug system-level issues across the Android framework, native user space, BSP, kernel, boot, and build environments.\nEnable and validate platform features and resolve Android compatibility and certification failures.\nDevelop automated validation, functional testing, and post-fix smoke-test workflows.\nApply and improve AI-assisted workflows for issue triage, debugging, testing, code review, and issue resolution.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, production-quality Android software.\nWhat We Need to See\nMaster’s degree or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.\nStrong programming skills in C, C++, or Java.\nWorking knowledge of Python, shell scripting, or similar automation languages.\nSolid understanding of operating-system fundamentals and system-level debugging.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.\nWays to Stand Out from the Crowd\nExperience with AOSP, Android framework internals, native services, HALs, Linux kernel, or BSP development.\nExperience with Android OS bring-up, upgrades, rebases, or system-level debugging, as well as Android certification, reproducible test flows, or module-level smoke testing.\nFamiliarity with Android build systems, Git, Gerrit, CI/CD, and automated testing.\nExperience developing AI agent infrastructure or LLM-assisted software-engineering workflows.\nStrong English communication and technical reporting skills.\nWith competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered one of the most desirable employers in the world.
