You will work across C++ tools and AI services to help engineers find information, understand complex systems, and work more effectively.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nDevelop production-quality C++ components, APIs, and integrations for NVIDIA’s AI-powered developer-tools ecosystem.\nBuild capabilities connecting native C++ tools with Genie’s retrieval and agentic features.\nContribute to agentic workflows, retrieval systems, ingestion pipelines, MCP tools, APIs, and enterprise integrations.\nBuild benchmarks and improve retrieval quality, reliability, performance, and resource usage.\nOwn features from investigation and design through implementation, testing, and delivery.\nCollaborate with graphics, software, and hardware teams developing performance-analysis and developer tools.\nWhat We Need to See:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n5+ years of modern C++ programming skills gained through professional experience, internships, or substantial technical projects.\nGood understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, multithreading, debugging, and testing.\nAbility and motivation to work across C++ systems and Python-based AI services.\nFamiliarity with AI-powered applications, agentic workflows, retrieval systems, or related technologies.\nAbility to investigate unfamiliar problems, learn new technologies, and follow work through to completion.\nGood communication and collaboration skills, with openness to technical feedback.\nWays to Stand Out From the Crowd:\nExperience building substantial C++ applications, developer tools, or performance-sensitive systems.\nFamiliarity with C++ performance analysis, concurrency, memory management, or large codebases.\nHands-on experience with RAG, semantic search, embeddings, vector databases, or retrieval evaluation.\nExperience with MCP, REST APIs, structured tool calling, or agent frameworks.\nKnowledge of GPU architecture, graphics APIs, game engines, or application-performance optimization.\nNVIDIA is widely considered one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
