The NPI Diag TW team is searching for Firmware Software Engineer to develop efficient secure and stable diagnostic firmware/software tools and scripts to enable factory build and debugging on NVIDIA products. In this role, engineers should be able to develop, maintain, debug CX/BF chip firmware/software and NBU Diagnostic software upon the next generation NVIDIA DGX/MGX servers, GPU baseboard, and PCIe cards. You will participate in a focused effort to develop and productize ground-breaking solutions that will be applied on many NVIDIA products. You'll find the work is exciting, fun, and meaningful. As a key member of our firmware team, you will be a key leader responsible for the Firmware of our DGX/GPU software stack.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nBe involved in the definition, architectural design, and development of security Diag tool and test coverage planning for NVIDIA DGX products with an opportunity to craft its future.\n\nAssist with defining and making sure the software development process meets security and performance standards.\n\nDesign and/or make recommendations for Network solutions that apply to our software to satisfy DGX/GPU server guidelines and requirements.\n\nDesign Diag tool and scripts to make sure DGX/GPU products go for production smoothly.\n\nDesign Diagnostic software to help validate GPU/CPU/NIC/DPU HW with good performance and quality.\n\nWhat we need to see:\nMasters or higher in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering (or equivalent experience).\n\nHave software/firmware design, development, analysis or equivalent experiences.\n\nExperience in building and implementing embedded software/drivers. Familiarity with DMTF PLDM, MCTP, SPDM standards is a plus.\n\nBackground in embedded software development in Linux environment. Backgrounds with RISCV or security technologies: Root of Trust, etc. are a plus\n\nPlus to be experienced in threat modeling and modeling attack-vectors.\n\nStrong programming skills in C/C++/Python, algorithms, and data structures. Background with SBIOS and BMC firmware is a plus.\n\nStrength being hands-on with development in addition to experience in software security. Deep understanding of computer architecture, operating system fundamentals.\n\nA strong teammate; self-motivated with a positive attitude; with a motivation to learn, grow and build.\n\nWays to stand out from the crowd:\nA successful candidate should be able to work independently and highly self-motivated.
