This role sits at the intersection of hardware and software, offering the opportunity to work directly with silicon, board, and firmware teams to shape how NVIDIA products perform from the ground up.\n\nWhat you'll be doing:\nPlanning and performing DDR memory tuning, validation, and feature enablement on NVIDIA products.\nReviewing silicon design specifications, component datasheets, board schematics, and layout to inform engineering decisions.\nApplying knowledge of digital, analog, and computer design to debug and resolve controller, memory, board, and software/firmware level issues across all stages of the product lifecycle.\nRefining memory bringup and validation strategy by providing feedback and recommendations to silicon, board, and software teams.\n\nWhat we need to see:\nRecently completed a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n2+ years of relevant experience, including internships, co-ops, or research projects.\nUnderstanding of high-speed signal integrity and hands-on experience with oscilloscopes.\nFamiliarity with schematic capture and board design.\nWorking knowledge of PC systems, Windows OS, and Linux.\nStrong grasp of EE fundamentals with the ability to break down complex problems using first principles.\nFamiliarity with scripting or programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, or Perl.\nAbility to work effectively across teams and time zones in a collaborative, cross-disciplinary environment.\nGenuine curiosity about technology and a passion for continuous learning.\n\nWays to stand out from the crowd:\nExperience as a tutor or teaching assistant in an engineering or technical subject.\nStrong presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to cross-functional audiences.\nHands-on experience with memory subsystem design or validation.\nNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world's most desirable employers.
