The SMT Process Engineering Manager role located in Hsinchu, Taiwan, offers an outstanding opportunity to impact our pioneering efforts. Reporting directly to Operations Management in Santa Clara, CA you will lead a local SMT Engineers team in support of NPI and mass production SMT process development and issue resolution. If you have ambition and want to make a meaningful difference, we want you on board!\nWhat you'll be doing:\nCharacterizing and validating SMT processes to ensure flawless operations.\n\nManaging quality control and implementing strict quality management practices.\n\nHeading a team of SMT Engineers, guiding them to attain outstanding outcomes.\n\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve critical issues and report findings.\n\nSupporting new product introductions (NPI) and ensuring seamless transition to mass production.\n\nCommunicating progress and challenges to Operations Management in Santa Clara, CA.\n\nDetermining and implementing process improvements to maintain world-class standards.\n\nWhat we need to see:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering or comparable experience.\n\nProven experience in SMT process characterization and validation.\n\nMinimum of 8 overall years in engineering roles with at least 2 years in a leadership position.\n\nStrong knowledge of quality management systems and practices.\n\nExcellent problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving critical issues.\n\nEffective communication skills for reporting and team collaboration.\n\nAbility to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.\n\nWays to stand out from the crowd:\nMaster’s degree in Engineering or a related area, or equivalent experience.\n\nExperience in a high-tech, fast-paced environment.\n\nEstablished experience in handling NPI and mass production workflows.\n\nFamiliarity with NVIDIA’s products and technologies.\n\nProven ability to lead and encourage a team to achieve ambitious goals.\n\nWidely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers, NVIDIA offers highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
