We are looking for you - a Networking Software Architect, to develop the next generation of networking protocols for AI.\nWe are developing RDMA Transport protocols within the Networking software architecture team at NVIDIA. We build the underlying infrastructure under protocols such as RoCEv2, Multipath Reliable Connection (MRC) and NVIDIA Spectrum-X that form the basis for distributed AI training and inference. We're seeking a highly motivated, creative professional with networking protocols expertise along with experience in RDMA and its usage in large scale AI systems. Efficient and fast communication between GPUs directly impacts end-to-end AI application performance. This impact continues to grow with the increasing scale of next generation systems. Are you ready to build the new and innovative technologies that will help realize NVIDIA's vision?\nWhat you'll be doing:\nResearch and propose novel transport mechanisms based on RDMA technology for AI systems using simulations, experiments and proof-of-concept prototypes.\n\nArchitect the frameworks for NVIDIA’s programmable networking devices for novel protocols.\n\nProvide system-level architecture to guide NVIDIA’s customers to deploy and operate the new protocols.\n\nCollaborate across NVIDIA to co-design the stack to exploit new transport mechanisms.\n\nWhat we need to see:\nM.S./Ph.D. degree in CS/CE or equivalent experience.\n\n12+ years of relevant experience.\n\nExcellent C/C++ programming and debugging skills.\n\nResearch experience driving transport protocol innovations.\n\nDeep understanding of RDMA.\n\nProven fundamentals of compute, network architecture and operating systems.\n\nStrong experience with Linux.\n\nAbility and flexibility to work and communicate effectively in a multi-national, multi-time-zone corporate environment.\n\nWays to stand out from the crowd:\nExpertise in related technology and passion for networking.
