We are looking for outstanding PhD interns to help advance the frontier of Physical AI and world models.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nConduct research in generative AI, multimodal foundation models, world models, and embodied AI.\n\nDevelop algorithms for video understanding/generation, action-conditioned simulation, multimodal reasoning, and policy learning.\n\nTrain and evaluate large-scale models using video, image, language, and robotics or autonomous driving data.\n\nCollaborate with researchers and engineers across AI, robotics, simulation, and graphics teams.\n\nPublish research at top conferences and transfer innovations into NVIDIA products.\n\nWhat we need to see:\nCurrently pursuing a PhD in CS, EE, Robotics, or related fields.\n\nStrong background in generative AI, computer vision, multimodal learning, robotics, or reinforcement learning.\n\nPrior publication record and research experience.\n\nStrong Python and PyTorch skills.\n\nWays to stand out from the crowd:\nExperience with large-scale foundation model training.\n\nResearch in video models, VLMs, world models, robotics, or autonomous driving.\n\nExperience with distributed training, simulation, or embodied AI.\n\nNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
