# Power Analysis and Optimization Intern - 2027

The Power Analysis and Optimization team helps IP teams define power targets for architectural changes and new features, identify power-saving opportunities throughout the ASIC design process-from architecture definition through place and route-and resolve power issues that could affect functionality or performance. As an intern,you will gain hands-on experience in ASIC power analysis, modeling, optimization, and automation while contributing to more energy-efficient NVIDIA products. What you’ll be doing: Support the development of IP-level power models for early power estimation of architectural changes and new features. Assist IP teams in analyzing power consumption across different workloads and application scenarios. Use internally developed flows and industry-standard tools to perform power analysis and identify optimization opportunities. Work with design teams to evaluate proposed power optimizations.
