Come join the team and see how you can make a lasting impact on the world.\nWe are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to drive the evolution of our AI-powered employee experiences across web and mobile, partnering with our global teams to push the technical boundaries of what’s possible.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nLead and code end-to-end features that power a seamless, AI-rich employee experience across web and native mobile apps.\n\nArchitect highly performant services and UIs that surface personalized content, knowledge, and search results to a global workforce.\n\nEmbed LLM and vector-search capabilities into existing product surfaces, driving relevance and continuous learning loops.\n\nOwn system design reviews, code reviews, and technical roadmaps raising the engineering bar and mentoring engineers across the team.\n\nIntegrate third-party HRIS, collaboration, and productivity platforms to create cohesive, automated user journeys.\n\nChampion modern front-end patterns (React/Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind) and cloud-native back-end practices (K8s, containers, CI/CD).\n\nInstrument robust observability, tracing, structured logging, and SLA dashboards, helping our SREs achieve 24×7 reliability for employees in every region.\n\nUphold security, privacy, and accessibility standards across all user journeys.\n\nWhat we need to see:\nBS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, other Engineering or related fields (or equivalent experience)\n\n15+ years of full-stack product engineering, including 3+ years at the principal or staff level guiding cross-functional teams.\n\nProven track record delivering consumer-grade web and/or mobile experiences at scale.\n\nExpertise in search, recommendation, or applied-AI systems.\n\nHands-on experience with modern cloud infrastructure, K8s, and automated CI/CD.\n\nStrong data-modeling with relational and NoSQL stores.\n\nFluency in application security.\n\nExcellent mentoring, comfortable setting vision and rolling up sleeves.\n\nWays to stand out from the crowd:\nShipped gen AI features (RAG, copilots, chatbots) to thousands of daily users.\n\nContributions to open-source search or front-end frameworks.\n\nNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
