As a dedicated member of the DevOps team, you will contribute to the team’s projects and roadmap, improve build and deployment reliability, and collaborate with SRE and development teams globally. This role provides primary DevOps support during India business hours, with clear handoffs to US-based teams.\nWhat you will be doing:\nParticipate as a dedicated member of the DevOps team, contributing to scrums, planning sessions, team meetings, and delivery of the team’s projects and roadmap.\nBuild, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines, build and release automation, and deployment workflows.\nServe as the primary point of contact for DevOps issues during India business hours, triaging and resolving pipeline and workflow failures.\nCollaborate with SRE and development teams across time zones, ensuring clear communication and effective handoffs to US-based teams.\nAutomate manual processes and improve the reliability, speed, and visibility of build and deployment systems.\nDevelop and maintain documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides for DevOps workflows.\nContribute to tooling, infrastructure as code, and configuration management for DevOps platforms.\nManage and maintain data center infrastructure using tools such as NetBox and Foreman, along with Mellanox switches.\nImprove codebase and platform security through software hardening and secure credential management.\nWhat we need to see:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.\n8 + years of hands-on experience in DevOps, build and release engineering, or a similar role.\nStrong experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent platforms.\nStrong experience working on any of the public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure) \nProficiency in scripting and automation using Python and Bash.\nExperience with source control tools and workflows using Git, GitLab, Perforce, and Gerrit.\nExperience with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Packer.\nExperience with orchestration and automation platforms such as StackStorm, Argo CD, or Flux CD.\nWorking knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.\nStrong Linux fundamentals and skills in solving issues. \nStrong understanding of production release cycles, pipeline testing, and software quality practices.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams across time zones.\nWays to stand out from the crowd:\nExperience developing automation and tooling in Go.\nDemonstrated success improving CI/CD reliability, reducing build and deployment times, and eliminating manual work.\nHands-on experience with NetBox, Foreman, and Mellanox switches in data center environments.\nExperience implementing software hardening and secure credential management.\nA track record of creating clear runbooks and improving operational handoffs across global teams.\nNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
