Come join the team and see how you can make a lasting impact on the world.\nThe Local AI Automation team is seeking a hands-on Senior Engineering Technician to help scale and sustain a reliable automation lab supporting AI development and validation. You will take a leading role in system bring-up, lab operations, maintenance, issue resolution, and multi-functional coordination to help ensure infrastructure readiness and operational excellence. If you are passionate about building and maintaining reliable Local AI systems and lab infrastructure, this is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact!\nWhat you'll be doing:\nSet up, cable, configure, and maintain Local AI systems and supporting application and data servers across Windows and Linux environments.\nPartner with infrastructure teams to coordinate lab space, power, network connectivity, site readiness, and system deployment.\nSupport procurement activities by defining requirements, coordinating with vendors, tracking inventory, and preparing systems for internal and external users.\nCollaborate with others to gain a clear understanding of hardware and software requirements. Bring online Local AI PCs and desktop systems. Deploy operating system images, install required tools, and support software.\nMonitor lab health and key operational metrics, restore unavailable systems, and help ensure reliable lab infrastructure.\nInvestigate recurring issues, perform root cause analysis for system downtime, and partner with collaborators to implement corrective actions and automation improvements.\nMaintain lab safety, cleanliness, organization, and documentation standards.\nWhat we need to see:\nB.Tech or a diploma/degree in computer science, information technology, electronics, or a related field-or equivalent hands-on experience-with 4+ years of relevant experience.\nExperience supporting lab operations, system bring-up, GPU-based Local AI PCs and desktop systems, and the backend and data server setup used for hosting applications.\nHands-on experience installing, upgrading, resolving problems, and maintaining Local AI PCs and desktop systems, in addition to application and database server environments, including GPUs, memory, storage, and firmware, using established technical procedures and documentation.\nExperience deploying and bringing up Local AI PCs and desktop systems. This includes operating system imaging, configuration, and validation. It also includes supporting servers that host applications and databases for software deployment.\nDemonstrable understanding of desktop and server environments including Windows OS and Linux distributions, along with foundational networking concepts.\nStrong problem-solving, communication, and multi-functional partnership skills.\nAbility to work independently, handle operational issues, and coordinate alongside collaborators to drive timely resolution.\nWays to stand out from the crowd:\nExperience with hardware bring-up, debugging, and failure isolation for Local AI PCs and desktop systems, as well as servers supporting software deployment and data management.\nFamiliarity with lab health monitoring, downtime analysis, and root cause investigation.\nScripting or automation experience using Python, Bash, or similar tools.\nAbility to manage multiple concurrent tasks with minimal direction in prototype or fast-paced engineering environments.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
