With many hardworking engineers around the globe, the work environment is complex, results-oriented and fast paced.\nWhat you will be doing:\nCollaborate across software, hardware and architecture teams to define, plan and deliver on commitments, following all the way through the development process from design, development, chip bringup to productization.\nMultiple opportunities to collaborate and communicate effectively with teams from all around the globe.\nHeavily involved with the early modeling and simulation required to produce our outstanding products.\nImplement new features for NVIDIA NIC, Switch and GPU firmware.\nWork with multiple processors that running the same code.\nDevelop verification tests for advanced features in a highly complex and sophisticated Firmware testing environment.\nGain a deep understanding of system debug, networking technology and stacks, as well as the HW/FW/SW relationship.\nYou will learn how a big software project is operated, maintained, qualified and released, and how Hardware and Firmware are developed.\nWhat we need to see:\nB.Sc. in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience\n5+ years of professional experience\nStrong C/C++ and OOP capabilities\nExcellent understanding of data structures and algorithms fundamentals\nScripting abilities (Python, Bash)\nStrong analytical, debugging and problem solving skills\nMotivated and independent with strong social skills\nPrior firmware design and verification experience\nWays to stand out from the crowd:\nBackground in simulation development or real-time programming (RTOS)\nExperience in Firmware boot and security flows\nExperience in x86 assembly and knowledge of the PC architecture\nKnowledge of peripheral, network, and storage protocols\nExperience with Agile methods\nNVIDIA’s invention of the GPU fuelled the PC gaming market.
