At NVIDIA, we seek a Senior MGX Ecosystem Engineer, Power to play a crucial role in growing our MGX hardware ecosystem. This position offers an outstanding chance to collaborate with industry partners, suppliers, OEMs, and technology providers. You will drive the design, integration, validation, and deployment of power solutions across the NVIDIA MGX ecosystem. Collaborate with PSU and power-shelf suppliers, system manufacturers, and internal engineering teams to deliver reliable, efficient, and scalable power infrastructure for accelerated computing platforms.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nDefine and review requirements for in-rack and out-of-rack power architectures, server PSUs, power shelves, and DC distribution systems.\nLead partner design reviews and system validation covering electrical performance, thermal behavior, current sharing, redundancy, hot swap, protection, and power-management interfaces.\nDiagnose complex power issues across distributed hardware fleets and serve as an escalation point for partners and operations teams.\nDrive root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and improvements in reliability, serviceability, energy efficiency, and operational performance.\nTranslate deployment findings into design requirements, validation coverage, and ecosystem guidance.\nWhat we need to see:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n6+ years of demonstrated ability in hardware platform engineering, systems engineering, ecosystem engineering, or technical partner management.\nStrong understanding of switching power conversion, including power factor correction (PFC), LLC resonant converters, phase-shifted full-bridge converters, and isolated and non-isolated DC/DC topologies.\nHands-on experience designing, integrating, or validating high-power server PSUs, power shelves, or comparable modular power systems.\nKnowledge of rack power distribution, busbars, high-current connectors, current sharing, redundant architectures, grounding, and fault containment.\nProficiency in schematic review, circuit analysis, control-loop stability, magnetics, component selection, thermal analysis, and EMI/EMC.\nExperience developing test plans and conducting efficiency, transient-response, ripple, protection, and failure-mode testing using laboratory instrumentation.\nDemonstrated ability to diagnose system-level failures by correlating electrical measurements, telemetry, firmware behavior, and hardware logs.\nAbility to coordinate technical work across suppliers, ecosystem partners, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.\nAbility to travel domestically and internationally up to 25-40%.\nWays to stand out from the crowd:\nMaster’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related technical field.\nExperience with NVIDIA MGX platforms, rack-scale accelerated computing, or power architectures.\nFamiliarity with PSU and shelf management interfaces, digital power control, and firmware integration.\nExperience supporting large hardware fleets and driving corrective actions through production and deployment.\nEnd-to-end development experience with high-reliability switching DC/DC supplies, including schematic design, prototype bring-up, qualification, and production support.
