If so, join us!\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nGenerate real-time 3D world model utilized by planning, incorporating a variety of inputs from sensors and external sources.\nEnable HD mapless driving in complex urban scenarios by creating enriched BEV models of the world.\nDesign and integrate algorithmic solutions into the core of NVIDIA AV.\nWrite safe embedded software code to run in real-time systems.\nDevelop highly efficient product code in C++ and make use of algorithmic parallelism offered by GPGPU programming (CUDA).\nProduce code and designs following automotive quality and safety standards.\nWhat We Need To See:\nBachelor’s / Master’s / PhD in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience) with 6+ years of experience.\nSoftware industry experience.\nStrong C++ development skills.\nPassion for robotics and autonomous vehicles.\nDrive to learn new things and tackle meaningful problems.\nOutstanding communication and cross-team collaboration.\nIndependent and analytical software engineering skills.\nSoftware development on embedded or automotive platforms.\nWays To Stand Out From The Crowd:\nBackground in 3D geometry, computer vision, or state estimation algorithms like Kalman filters, particle filters.\nUnderstanding of ADASISv2 as well as crowdsourced maps and geographic information systems (GIS). \nRuntime optimization of code using profilers.\nExperience with CUDA parallel programming.\nWe believe that building self-driving vehicles will be a defining contribution of our generation (e.g. traffic accidents are responsible for ~1.25 million deaths per year world-wide).
