In this role you will research and develop technology that secures AI and systems using AI.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nNovel and creative research on improving cybersecurity and AI. Our work focuses both on using models and agents to improve cybersecurity, as well as securing models and agents.\nContribute research on new and exciting problems in AI and security. The world needs secure systems and needs AI to be safe and secure. As stewards of AI, at NVIDIA you will help address the problems in this space.\nDeveloping tools and processes to expose or remediate novel weaknesses in conventional and AI systems.\nPresenting results, by publishing them in peer-reviewed venues, or sharing them with the security, machine learning, and business communities in other ways.\nImproving AI and security at NVIDIA by sharing your results with other teams across the company and solving relevant problems in a wide range of contexts.\nWhat we need to see:\nMaster’s or PhD Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\nExperience of 5+ years in machine learning, cybersecurity, or closely related fields.\nShown programming expertise.\nOutstanding knowledge of AI and conventional software weaknesses and mitigation strategies.\nIn-depth understanding of Generative AI workflows.\nSelf-starter with a passion for growth, enthusiasm for continuous learning, and sharing findings.\nMotivated and curious about new technologies.\nAbility to present sophisticated technical information clearly.\nWays to stand out from the crowd:\nTight-knit collaboration skills with a history of successful cross-functional projects.\nDiscovered CVEs, built successful tooling.\nKnowledge of adversarial machine learning and techniques to defend against adversarial techniques.\nExperience with secure software development practices.\nAbility to build human-friendly resources.\nYour base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
