Working across hardware and software teams, you will enable developers to build and test solutions before next-generation hardware becomes available.\nWe seek an architect who combines platform vision with deep software expertise and carries technical decisions through implementation and delivery.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nDefine DSX Air’s architecture, including simulation frameworks, platform services, APIs, infrastructure models, and telemetry integration.\nDefine shared frameworks, interfaces, and interoperability standards that connect Digital Twin initiatives across NVIDIA.\nGuide detailed software design, using hands-on prototypes and technical investigations to resolve critical challenges.\nDefine simulation fidelity and validation requirements, with results validated by reference to actual physical setups.\nPartner with Engineering to integrate simulation into development and automated testing, enabling earlier issue discovery.\nShape the platform roadmap and drive architectural decisions through delivery and adoption, balancing performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.\nWhat we need to see:\nMSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n8+ years in software architecture and technical leadership, delivering complex distributed platforms.\nDeep software engineering expertise across distributed systems, platform frameworks, APIs, and secure cloud-native architectures.\nProven understanding of virtualization and infrastructure technologies, including hypervisors, Kubernetes, and container networking.\nUnderstanding of large-scale data-center infrastructure and automation, with hands-on experience validating architectural choices through prototypes.\nAbility to translate platform strategy into practical engineering decisions, align teams, and drive execution.\nClear technical communication, strong ownership, and attention to detail.\nWays to stand out from the crowd:\nExperience developing simulation, emulation, or Digital Twin platforms.\nHardware/software co-design experience enabling development before hardware availability.\nDeep understanding of AI factory compute and networking systems.\nExperience developing shared frameworks adopted across products and engineering teams.\nExperience validating simulation fidelity against physical systems.\nWith competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, NVIDIA is widely regarded as one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
