This is an outstanding opportunity to accelerate the pace of Jetson, IGX and DGX Spark Product Software system development within NVIDIA. Using your expansive knowledge of embedded platforms, Linux Real Time kernel operating systems, and software architectures, you will work with a world-wide development team to address the unique challenges of delivering the world's most powerful platform for crafting solutions for AI at-the-edge. Have you worked on Linux-based embedded products through full product lifecycles and have a passion for hands-on building of innovative products? If so, this position is for you!\nWhat you'll be doing:\nImplement features that showcasethe capabilities Jetson, IGX based robotics, drones or industrial automation platforms, from board bring-up through production release.\nDefine, build and tune real-time Linux Kernel for deterministic workloads based on GPU and SoC dependent accelerators.\nEnable variuos IOs and validate the sensors interfaces robotics, drones or industrial automation depend on.\nWork with robotics partners and internal hardware, safety and middleware teams to turn customer use cases into platform features, reference configurations and tools.\nEngage in the full product lifecycle, from hardware bring-up to production deployment.\nWhat we need to see:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer engineering or equivalent experience.\n8+ years of shown experience in Linux and sophisticated embedded systems development with strong programming skills.\nAble to understand the robotics, drones or industrial automation platform hardware architecture and engage with hardware team.\nHands-on experience shipping BSPs for robotics, drones or industrial automation platforms.\nAbility to navigate through linux kernel internals skills: device drivers, device tree, boot flow, debugging with tracing tools.\nProven real-time Linux kernel development experience.\nOutstanding technical skills and the ability to work across complementary teams.\nAny RTOS experience such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr, etc. is a plus.\nModeling various GPU, sensors and other accelerator engine workloads related to robotics, drones or industrial automation applications.\nWays to stand out from the crowd\nAn understanding of how various middleware frameworks like ROS2 behavior affects platform determinism.\nBuilt tools or frameworks that let customers configure and verify real-time behavior on deployed systems.\nFamiliarity with embedded microprocessor architectures such as ARM, Linux kernel and various subsystems within.\nExperience with any developer kits for robotics, drones or industrial automation platforms.\nYour base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
