This team is responsible for developing comprehensive system software solutions from concept to production. In this role, you will be integral in overseeing the entire lifecycle of GPU feature development, including proof of concept, design, architecture, algorithm implementation, and both pre/post-SI optimization. Your primary focus will be on display features utilizing both hardware and software architectures to deliver industry-leading, energy-efficient consumer products.\nWhat you will be doing:\nDefine, POC, design, and develop display features based on VESA Display Port standards like DP 2.1, HDMI, and eDP.\n\nDrive and resolve complex optimization strategies independently across multiple teams and technical disciplines.\n\nInfluence next-generation GPU/SoC and Platform architecture by creating internal architecture specifications and design specifications.\n\nCollaborate and communicate effectively with local and remote teams in addition to driving interaction with OEM/ODM partners.\n\nWhat we need to see:\n5+ years of industry experience in system software or related field.\n\nB.S. or higher degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science/Engineering and related field.\n\nStrong programming skills in C, in depth knowledge of low level interfaces.\n\nSolid background in operating system internals, device driver, real-time embedded operating system, algorithms and data structures.\n\nMust be able to work closely with hardware designers and other driver engineers to create new features and solutions.\n\nBackground and strength in complex system-level debugging\n\nStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills\n\nCapability to achieve objectives under tight deadlines.\n\nWays to stand out from the crowd:\nIn-depth knowledge of low-level display pipeline fundamentals like VESA, HDMI, DP, eDP, PSR, FreeSync.\n\nArchitecture and design experience in SoC/GPU software display, power management, and optimization.\n\nPrior experience in display technologies like VESA DP, eDP, and HDMI and SW/HW optimizations\n\nWorking experience in system software, operating system internals, kernel modules, and device driver.\n\nWe are widely considered to be one of the technology world's most desirable employers, and as a result, we have some of the most forward-thinking and hardworking people in the world working for us.
