Our team is responsible for the design and integration of SONiC across NVIDIA Networking products. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work on next-generation, high-speed networking solutions for AI data centers, contribute to open-source projects, and collaborate with experts across NVIDIA and the broader SONiC community.\nYou’ll help lead the development of new SONiC networking features and chassis management capabilities across NVIDIA Networking products. We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, learning quickly, and collaborating in a dynamic and diverse team environment.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nDesign, integrate, and deliver new features as part of the SONiC release train across NVIDIA Networking products.\nDevelop networking and chassis management capabilities for next-generation platforms.\nWork in a Continuous Deployment environment with fast development and deployment cycles.\nCollaborate with experienced teams across NVIDIA Networking and with members of the broader SONiC open-source community.\nDevelop high-quality, production-ready code that is published and reviewed in leading open-source environments.\nTake ownership of features from design and implementation through integration and delivery.\nWhat we need to see:\nB.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n5+ years of software development experience.\nUnderstanding of networking concepts and protocols.\nExperience with C++ and Python\nExperience using AI development tools or building AI agents.\nStrong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.\nA collaborative mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills.\nWays to stand out from the crowd:\nHands-on experience with L2 and L3 networking protocols.\nExperience with SONiC, SAI, or other open-source networking projects.\nExperience with Rust.\nFamiliarity with Linux and shell scripting.\nExperience working with Scrum or other Agile development methodologies.\nWith competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, we are widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
