The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality of NVIDIA boards and networking switch products. As a Senior SQE, you will have the opportunity to work closely with NVIDIA's suppliers and manufacturing partners to develop and implement outstanding quality programs for PCBAs, system boards, and networking switches. Your primary responsibility will be to represent NVIDIA's supplier quality interests, collaborating with internal engineering and operations teams to improve product quality, reliability, manufacturing performance, and supplier execution.\nYou will work closely with teams such as hardware engineering, product engineering, manufacturing engineering, product quality engineering, operations, and commodity management to drive continuous improvement. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting supplier quality performance and driving corrective and preventive actions.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nResponsible to lead end-to-end supplier quality activities for PCBAs, system boards, and networking switch products.\n\nDrive supplier quality activities throughout the product lifecycle, including supplier readiness, NPI, qualification, production ramp, and sustaining phases.\n\nCollaborate with engineering organizations to investigate and resolve board- and system-level failures, including electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and component-related issues.\n\nLead failure investigations, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions using structured problem-solving methodologies.\n\nLead supplier and manufacturing process audits to ensure compliance with NVIDIA quality requirements and industry standards.\n\nMonitor supplier quality performance using quality metrics and statistical methods, identify improvement opportunities, and drive continuous quality improvement programs.\n\nWork with suppliers to improve manufacturing processes, increase yield, reduce defects, strengthen process controls, and improve overall product quality.\n\nWhat we need to see:\nMS or BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience, with 8+ years of relevant experience in supplier quality, manufacturing, or the electronics industry.\n\nProfessional knowledge of PCB/PCBA manufacturing processes, including SMT, reflow, soldering, inspection, and board assembly.\n\nSolid understanding of electronics manufacturing, component quality, workmanship requirements, and process controls.\n\nIn-depth knowledge of quality and reliability concepts, including qualification, reliability testing, and failure analysis.\n\nFamiliarity with board- and component-level failure analysis techniques, including X-ray, cross-sectioning, D&P, thermal analysis, and electrical fault isolation.\n\nSupplier quality management experience and knowledge of problem-solving methodologies, including 8D, 5-Why, FMEA, and SPC.\n\nExperience leading supplier corrective actions and root-cause investigations for manufacturing and field-quality issues.\n\nAbility to analyze quality and manufacturing data, identify trends, and drive improvement actions.\n\nSelf-motivated, dedicated, and able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.\n\nProficiency in written and spoken English, with excellent communication skills.\n\nWays to stand out from the crowd:\nExperience with networking switches, servers, or DataCenter hardware products.\n\nKnowledge of high-speed networking technologies, including Ethernet, switch ASICs, optical modules, and high-speed connectors.\n\nExperience working with CMs, ODMs, PCB suppliers, and electronic component suppliers.\n\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.\n\nFamiliarity with industry standards and quality practices such as IPC-A-610, JEDEC standards, AQL sampling, and other relevant quality and reliability requirements.\n\nDemonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional supplier quality initiatives and drive sustainable improvements.\n\nWith competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, we are widely considered to be one of the technology world's most desirable employers, and we have some of the most forward-thinking and hardworking people in the world working for us.
