Our System Software team is dedicated to crafting and developing the Boot SW stack for NVIDIA SoCs enabling computation products in Automotive, Embedded, and Server markets. At NVIDIA, we are driving the new age of computing with AI, revolutionizing industries from gaming to healthcare!\nWhat you'll be doing:\nDesign key aspects of the Boot SW with focus on enabling an entire range of NVIDIA SoC platforms to boot various operating systems.\n\nDevelop and productize software for CPU and memory initialization, resource management, drivers, platform configuration, and security parameters.\n\nCollaborate with software, hardware, architecture and platform teams to define system requirements, configurations, and boot security.\n\nEnsure the bootloader architecture maintains forward and backward compatibility, emphasizing on boot security and performance.\n\nContribute to achieving the best performance, efficiency in compliance with ISO26262 safety standards and ISO21434 security standards for current and next-generation NVIDIA TEGRA SoCs.\n\nImprove work flows and processes by using AI agents and tools to establish automation frameworks and agentic work flows.\n\nWhat we need to see:\nB.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience with 5+ years of software development.\n\nStrong programming, debugging, and analytical skills with a deep understanding of operating systems and processor ISA.\n\nProficiency in C programming and low-level driver experience; expertise in system-level debugging.\n\nKnowledge of Assemblers, binary formats (such as ELF, DWARF), and understanding of ABI.\n\nExperience in developing Boot software or BSP for embedded, mobile, automotive products or networking products.\n\nFamiliarity with ARMv8-based processor architecture and board bring-up.\n\nSelf-learner with excellent proactive communication skills and a professional approach to technical challenges.\n\nInquisitive about AI tools and Agentic work flows.\n\nWays to stand out from the crowd:\nProven experience in bootloader development and bare metal programming.\n\nExperience with developing and applying AI tools to automate Software development workflows and processes.\n\nFamiliarity with developing Functional Safe software for automotive applications.\n\nWidely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers, NVIDIA offers highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
