You will lead a focused effort to productize groundbreaking solutions that will redefine transportation and the growing field of self-driving cars. You will work with dedicated multi-functional engineering teams across vehicle subsystems - software, hardware, validation, and systems - to integrate their work into our autonomous DRIVE SW platform, while achieving or exceeding all relevant NVIDIA and automotive standards & guidelines. The work is exciting, impactful, and fast-paced. We have customers and competition.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nLead multiple, concurrent complex programs & projects across the autonomous driving platform.\nDrive new platform technologies from bringup to production across software, hardware, vehicle, and validation teams.\nManage automotive software development and releases in a highly dynamic environment.\nDefine scope and manage project roadmaps, schedules, and milestones with cross-functional engineering teams.\nHandle risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality.\nIdentify and manage cross-functional dependencies proactively.\nImprove processes and procedures within the team. Streamline day-to-day operations.\nCommunicate regularly to manage expectations and provide timely updates on progress, risks, and decisions.\nWhat we need to see:\nBS/MS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)\n12+ years of industry and Technical Program Management experience in software engineering and releasing commercial products.\nTrack record of delivering scalable programs and process improvements in fast-paced, multi-functional environments.\nExperience driving adoption of new and improved process workflows.\nStrong technical acumen across software and hardware platforms.\nStrong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.\nSelf-starter with a “can-do” attitude.\nWays To Stand Out From The Crowd:\nPrevious experience & lived a life as a software developer or software QA engineer. Understand the pressures they are under, allowing you to more optimally lead them in projects as well as process.\nBackground in embedded systems (OS, platform drivers, sensors, middleware) or other software close to the hardware stack.\nExperience in Automotive system integration.\nExperience with Jira and/or JAMA, to the point that you can be comfortable mentoring an engineering team how to use these tools with agility.\nExpertise in Agile and Scrum methodology.\nYour base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
