If you are ambitious and want to make a significant impact, this role is for you!\nWhat you'll be doing:\nPartnering with product engineers to understand the complex connectivity requirements of tomorrow’s data centers\n\nDesign and supervise deployment of fiber and copper cabling systems supporting multi-network clusters\n\nInfluence data center layouts and planning to provide for maximum flexibility in development focused lab buildings\n\nUnderstand and support networks controlling, monitoring, and alerting within our enterprise data center environments, supporting the mechanical, electrical, liquid cooling, and security components.\n\nImplement new fiber solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current infrastructure.\n\nDefine and document repeatable standards for data center and lab spaces at various scales.\n\nConducting regular assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance.\n\nWhat we need to see:\nRelevant certifications such as Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) or Data Center Design Consultant (DCDC) or equivalent experience.\n\n8+ years of proven experience in a data center design and engineering role.\n\nDemonstrated experience with architectural drawings and the generation of scopes of work for low voltage contractors\n\nDeep understanding of fiber systems, connectors, and transceivers\n\nFamiliarity with OSI-ISO model, switching and routing protocols, IPv4 / IPv6 addressing, and common TCP/IP protocols.\n\nStrong communication abilities and the capability to present technical information clearly.\n\nWays to stand out from the crowd:\nExperience with next-generation data center architectures and technologies.\n\nFirst-hand data center operations experience.\n\nActive involvement in industry-specific communities or networks.\n\nWidely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers, NVIDIA offers highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
