We are looking to hire a Test Infrastructure Engineer to join NVIDIA’s Test Solutions Group and build the infrastructure foundation for manufacturing system of board and system products at Contract Manufacturer sites. In this role, you will apply systems, hardware, software, and automation expertise to ensure test environments are reliable, scalable, secure, and ready to support high-volume manufacturing. You will own the engineering of test-dedicated infrastructure-including tester provisioning and configuration, test compute and storage, automation, logging, monitoring, DHCP requirements, and incident recovery-while partnering with CM site operations and IT teams on shared dependencies.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nBuild and operate the initial CM test infrastructure service stack: test compute, storage, tester provisioning, configuration, automation scripts, DHCP, log collection, diagnostic logs, and test-related file transfer.\nEstablish standards for tester images, configuration baselines, inventory, naming, access, patching, and lifecycle management.\nAutomate tester provisioning, configuration, recovery, health checks, and log collection using infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management tools.\nDevelop service runbooks, monitoring dashboards, alerts, incident procedures, and paths for handling blocking issues for each supported service.\nPartner with CM site operations on physical deployment, break/fix, remote access, rack-and-stack, power, and equipment replacement.\nWork with IT teams to ensure test infrastructure follows enterprise identity/access, network, security, DNS, patching, backup, and hardware standards.\nIdentify capacity, reliability, security, and operational risks; drive corrective actions before they affect test throughput.\nWhat We Need To See:\n8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, test engineering, lab operations, or technical operations.\nBachelors degree or equivalent experience.\nStrong hands-on Linux administration and ability to solve issues.\nExperience with servers, storage, networking fundamentals, remote-management controllers, and hardware/lab environments.\nExperience with automation and configuration management, such as Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD, or equivalent.\nExperience with logging, monitoring, alerting, incident response, and root-cause analysis.\nAbility to work independently across distributed teams, CM partners, and IT organizations.\nClear written communication and strong operational rigor.\nWays to Stand Out From Crowd:\nExperience supporting hardware validation, factory/CM operations, data centers, or large-scale test labs.\nExperience with GPU/server platforms, DHCP/DNS, PXE boot, golden images, KVM/console systems, and asset management.\nFamiliarity with storage systems, high-speed networking, observability platforms, and security tooling.\nExperience building a new operational capability or taking ambiguous infrastructure ownership from multiple teams\nWith competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, we are widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
