# Software Engineering Intern, Physics Simulation - 2027

Join our Physics Simulation Team at NVIDIA! Work on a feature within Newton physics or build a user workflow using Newton to solve concrete customer needs and accelerate robot learning. Possible areas include physics calibration and validation, simulation fidelity and performance, and integration into robotics training and evaluation workflows. We are looking for an analytically strong, curious intern who uses AI tools effectively, exercises good technical judgment, and takes initiative and sees their work through to completion. The specific project will be selected closer to the internship start, matching your strengths with our team's evolving development priorities. Location: Zurich, Switzerland. Start: During 2027. Expected duration: 6 months. What You Will Be Doing: Collaborate with senior robotics and simulation engineers to understand a customer need and develop a Newton core feature or a reusable workflow using Newton. Take ownership of a scoped contribution from investigation through implementation and evaluation, with guidance, mentoring, and code review from experienced engineers. Design experiments to demonstrate measurable improvements in correctness, physical fidelity
