Technician is responsible for, but not limited to, the following job descriptions:\nAssist in radiography and other nondestructive testing operations to ensure a quality and safe work product is obtained.\nAssist in setting up and operating equipment for NDT inspections.\nAssist in the interpretation of radiographic images under the supervision of a qualified radiographer.\nAssist with preparation of inspection records.\nAssist with maintaining equipment and ensure its proper functioning.\nCommunicate effectively with team members and operations management.\nFollow and adhere to industrial radiation procedures set forth by the company, state, and federal governing bodies.\nMaintain and control safe work practices set forth by the company, state, and federal regulations.\nEffectively meet project schedules outlined by operations management.\nMaintain and promote a positive attitude while representing NVI.\nActively participate in training and development to learn NDT procedures and codes.\nEngage in on-the-job training to further expand knowledge of procedures and codes.\nAny other assignment necessary to meet Assistant Radiographer responsibilities as set forth by the company.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualification(s)\nRequired to pass a 40 Hour Industrial Radiography Course (if not already obtained).\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent.\nValid State Driver’s License and able to pass a Motor Vehicle History Evaluation.\nAble to pass FBI background verification in accordance with Company’s Increased Controls program.\nAble to pass the Company's Drug/Alcohol, Fit for Duty, and Ergonomic Testing policies/procedures.\nRequired Experience\nPrevious experience is not required.\nPreferred Qualification & Experience\nState Radiographer’s Card and/or IRRSP Card.\nASNT/ACCP Level II Radiography certification, or Documented field hours and classroom education that meets or exceeds SNT-TC-1A certification requirements for
