Building a well-oiled machine where people like to work & inspire all birds to become internal innovators are at the heart of our mission.\nTasks\nAs a Software Engineer in the NVISO Labs team your responsibilities will include:\nDesigning and developing scalable back-end software and services using (mostly) Python. \nLeveraging Azure cloud services such as Functions, App Services, storage, and identity capabilities to build reliable solutions. \nDesigning APIs and integrating back-end components with internal and customer-facing platforms where needed. \nApplying sound software engineering practices to deliver maintainable, secure, and production-ready back-end solutions. \nTroubleshooting performance, reliability, and scalability issues across services and cloud-based workloads. \nIdentifying bottlenecks and continuously improving the efficiency, resilience, and observability of back-end systems.\nRequirements\nGeneral\nYou hold citizenship in one of the 32 NATO member states.\nAt least 5 years of experience as a software engineer\nA master's degree in computer science or a related technical field\nExcellent English communication skills, both verbal and written\nTechnical skills\nSolid experience in Python\nPassionate about best practices regarding reusability, maintainability, security, and testing\nThorough understanding of computer systems going beyond application development (including operating systems, networking, infrastructure, etc.)\nExperience with Azure-native development, API design, and cloud-based architectures is a plus\nSoft skills\nAbility to work independently and keep track of your priorities\nStrong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills that enable you to work effectively in a collaborative team environment across the entire company\nPositive, team and mission-oriented attitude\nAbility to prepare and present your work to your colleagues\nTeam player who works well under occasional pressure\nBenefits\nAt NVISO, we care.
