{"id":2673060,"url":"https://alion.io/job/nw-its-program-manager-iii-nationwide-it-services","title":"Program Manager III - Nationwide IT Services","company":{"id":4418857,"name":"Nationwide IT Services","domain":"nw-its.com","url":"https://alion.io/company/nw-its","size_band":"201-500","is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"JazzHR","truth_index":null},"role":"Management","role_family":"Management","seniority":"middle","employment_type":null,"work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Arlington, United States"],"countries":["US"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":{"min":100000,"max":200000,"currency":"USD","period":"year","gross":null,"usd_annual":200000},"salary_estimate":null,"experience_years_min":null,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-10-16T04:28:33Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-10-16","last_verified_at":"2026-10-21T16:07:41Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":5,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":5},"description":"Program Manager III\nLocation: Arlington, VA (On-site)\nEmployment Type: Full-Time\nSecurity Requirement: Active Secret\nPosition Overview\nNationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking an experienced Program Manager III to support a proposal effort for the National Guard Bureau (NGB) Technical and Staff Support Services (TSSS) program.\nThe Program Manager will provide overall program leadership, management, and oversight of technical and staff support services supporting NGB Joint Education and Staff Training and Joint Leader Development initiatives.\nThe successful candidate will oversee program operations, personnel, deliverables, quality assurance, and coordination with Government stakeholders to ensure successful execution of contract requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide overall program management, leadership, and oversight of contract operations, personnel, and deliverables.\nServe as the primary contractor management point of contact for Government representatives, including the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).\nCoordinate and oversee training, education, curriculum development, and leadership development support activities.\nDevelop, implement, and maintain program processes and procedures aligned with Government Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).\nOversee project management lifecycle documentation, schedules, milestones, and reporting requirements.\nCoordinate the development and maintenance of Course Management Task Lists (CMTLs), training schedules, and associated deliverables.\nMonitor contract performance, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.\nSupport training evaluations, After Action Reviews (AARs), curriculum reviews, and continuous process improvement.\nCoordinate with National Guard Bureau stakeholders and other Department of Defense organizations.\nEnsure compliance with applicable DoD policies, security requirements, and contractual performance standards.\nPrepare and present program status reports, briefings, and recommendations to Government leadership.\nEnsure adequate staffing and continuity of services throughout contract performance.\nRequired Qualifications\nExtensive experience managing Department of Defense programs, operations, or training support contracts.\nDemonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating complex Government requirements.\nExperience with program management, project planning, performance monitoring, and contract deliverables.\nKnowledge of DoD training, education, operational planning, or professional development programs.\nExperience developing and maintaining SOPs, management processes, and performance reports.\nStrong leadership, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet Government-established deadlines.\nPreferred Qualifications\n20+ years of Department of Defense program leadership experience.\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification.\nPrevious National Guard Bureau Joint Staff experience, particularly within NGB J8.\nExperience with Electronic Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2).\nExperience managing large-scale military training or orientation programs.\nExperience managing significant DoD training budgets and resources.\nMilitary officer leadership experience.\nSecurity RequirementsActive Secret\nMust meet applicable DD Form 254 security requirements.\nMust comply with applicable DoD security, information protection, and installation access requirements.\nWork Location and Travel\nThe primary duty location is the LTG Herbert R. Temple Jr. Army Readiness Center in Arlington, Virginia. Work may also be required at other Government facilities throughout the National Capital Region.\nThis is an on-site position. Remote work is not authorized.
