If you choose not to provide an email address, please note that you will need to log back into the system in order to obtain updates regarding your application.\nElectrical Trades & Apprenticeship\nLead the classroom instruction of electrician apprentices and electrical skills students appropriate to class/experience level.\nShare trade knowledge, experience and expertise with apprentices and/or trades students appropriate to class/experience level.\nCreate and/or manage delivery of class curriculum adhering to standards outlined in Western Arkansas Apprenticeship Program’s Appendix A: Electrician and/or Electrical Skills course outlines.\nRegular and punctual attendance by instructor is required, and instructor must take class attendance and report attendance to Director of Trades & Apprenticeship.\nProvide a course syllabus to Director of Trades & Apprenticeship.\nReport any issues to the appropriate authorities.\nRecognize and respond effectively to emergencies following procedures set by NWACC.\nWillingness to adjust or adapt delivery method of instruction as needed.\n**This instructor position may be for classes at the Bentonville or Springdale class locations, subject to program needs. Most Trades & Apprenticeship classes are scheduled for in-person instruction, between the hours of 4pm-10pm, Monday through Thursday. Trades & Apprenticeship Instructors may have opportunity to teach at an alternate location in future terms based upon program needs. **\nRate of pay: $35 per hour\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nKnowledge of current edition of National Electrical Code®\nKnowledge of or willingness to learn NCCER Electrical curriculum\nCurrent licensure as a Journeyworker or Master Electrician in Arkansas\nPhysical Demands\nThe conditions herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nEnvironment: Work is performed primarily in a standard office setting with frequent interruptions and distractions; extended periods of time viewing computer monitor.
