If you choose not to provide an email address, please note that you will need to log back into the system in order to obtain updates regarding your application.\nEssential Duties\nLead the classroom instruction of HVAC students appropriate to class/experience level.\nShare trade knowledge, experience and expertise with students appropriate to class/experience level.\nCreate and/or manage delivery of class curriculum adhering to standards outlined in Western Arkansas Apprenticeship Program’s Appendix A: HVAC and/or NWACC course catalog.\nTake regular attendance and report attendance to program coordinator.\nRegular and punctual attendance by instructor is required.\nProvide a course syllabus to program coordinator.\nReport any issues to the appropriate authorities.\nRecognize and respond effectively to emergencies following procedures set by NWACC.\nShare trade knowledge, experience and expertise with students appropriate to class level\nWillingness to adjust or adapt delivery method of instruction as needed\nRate of pay: $35 per hour\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nKnowledge of the organization and administration of various higher education academic and social programs.\nKnowledge of campus and community resources.\nKnowledge of state, federal, and campus rules, regulations, and requirements related tocampus academic and social programs.\nAbility to coordinate the activities of campus academic and/or social programs.\nAbility to evaluate collected information and formulate into recommendations.\nAbility to compile information into report form.\nKnowledge of current trade code(s); knowledge of or willingness to learn NCCER curriculum\nPhysical Demands/Work Environment\nThe following physical activities described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
