Courses may be delivered in person, online, or in a hybrid format.\nTeaching opportunities may be available in the following areas:\nAccounting\nBusiness Information Systems\nBusiness Law\nBusiness Management\nData Analysis\nEconomics\nEntrepreneurship\n• Marketing\nJob Description\nPrepares syllabi, instructional materials, assignments, and presentations aligned with established course learning outcomes.\nDelivers effective instruction using a variety of teaching methods, technologies, and relevant business applications.\nEstablishes and communicates clear course expectations, policies, and classroom management practices.\nAssesses student learning, provides timely feedback, and maintains accurate attendance and grade records.\nUses Canvas and other college systems, including Success Planner, to support instruction and document student participation.\nCommunicates effectively with students and responds to student questions within established timeframes.\nMeets all deadlines for submitting attendance, grades, and other required reports.\nMaintains a respectful and inclusive learning environment that supports student success.\nComplies with college policies and applicable academic and professional standards.\nRate of pay: $875 per credit hour\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nDemonstrated expertise in the assigned teaching discipline.\nAbility to explain business concepts clearly and connect course content to practical applications.\nDemonstrated or potential ability to teach effectively at the college level.\nAbility to use a learning management system and other instructional technologies.\nStrong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work effectively with students from varied educational and professional backgrounds.\nExperience with online instruction, project-based learning, service learning, or inquiry-based learning is preferred.\nRelevant professional or industry experience is preferred.\nCommunity college teaching experience is preferred.\nPhysical Requirements:\nFrequently:\nManipulate items with fingers, including keyboarding\nSitting\nStanding\nWalking\nConstantly:\nHearing\nRepetitive motion\nTalking\nEnvironmental Conditions\nThe following work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing essential functions of this job.
