As a Sampler Technician, you play a key role in helping us achieve this.\nOur Sampler Technicians travel across the Northeast Region, sampling and carrying out chlorine measurements and other tests to make sure we’re meeting our high-quality standards.\nWater is a 24/7, regional business, and our Sampler Technicians offer 365-day cover and enjoy being out and about, travelling to customer sites.\nAbout you\nIf you are highly self-motivated, able to work to deadlines and have a flexible and positive ‘can do’ attitude, we want to hear from you.\nYou will understand Sampling and Analysis Regulations (DWI drinking water regulations, MCERTS and Private Water Supply) and have a good working knowledge of sampling processes and methods.\nYou will have good written and verbal communication skills along with strong attention to detail to manage the quality system.\nYou will be reliable and adaptable to changing and challenging situations. Ideally you will have previous sampling experience and have worked in a UKAS Laboratory accredited environment.\nThe successful candidate will need a Full UK Manual driving licence.\nPlease note this role will require a DBS to be completed prior to employment.\nThis role has also been defined as a safety or security critical role and as a condition of a formal offer of employment you’ll be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test.\nProspective employees and agency workers in defined safety and security critical roles will be required to undertake a drug and alcohol test after the job offer has been made. This will be prior to or within four weeks of their start date.\nProspective employees and agency workers who fail a pre-employment urine drug screen will have their sample analysed by the Company appointed laboratory as a matter of course.
