Within this role you will conduct tasks in all conditions to ensure these assets operate correctly and efficiently, undertaking fault investigations and appropriate actions when issues are found.\nYou will need to have good IT skills and be able to analyse and interpret various pieces of information to identify process issues and optimise the assets’ performance.\nYou’ll carry out routine water quality analysis, making adjustments to treatment processes, monitoring, and controlling flow rates, undertaking plant checks, front line maintenance tasks, validation checks on various types of instrumentation and completion of both paper and electronic records.\nFull training will be provided to undertake the various technical aspects of this role.\nThis role has also been defined as a safety or security critical role and as a condition of a formal offer of employmentyou’ll be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test.\nProspective employees and agency workers in defined safety and security critical roles will be required to undertake a drug and alcohol test after the job offer has been made. This will be prior to or within four weeks of their start date.\nProspective employees and agency workers who fail a pre-employment urine drug screen will have their sample analysed by the Company appointed laboratory as a matter of course. Failing a pre-employment drugs or alcohol test may lead to the job offer being revoked\nAbout you\nOur Treatment Works Controllers play a key role in maintaining the quality and quantity of water through our treatment sites and processes; therefore, we are looking for people who have a strong focus on quality and are comfortable with the analysis and interpretation of data.
