For more information, visit: NWN.ai.\nResponsibilities\nThe Consultant Engineer role is responsible for the configuring, installing, troubleshooting and repairing offerings technical solutions for our customers.\nEssential, key job responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:\nDesign, deployment, configuration, troubleshooting and migration of Juniper Networks solutions, including knowledge of JunOS, Juniper Mist deployment methodologies, and advanced to expert knowledge of Juniper Route/Switch and Wireless Solutions.\n\nResponsible for work assignments from Project Managers and/or technical leaders\nWork with and develop expertise in many enterprise data infrastructure products from one or more of the following vendors: Juniper, Aruba, Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki, Fortinet\nConsistent, accurate and timely tracking of client work, service calls, and related documentation including daily timesheets.\nMeeting the billable/chargeable targets set by the company. Billable and chargeable time should consist of assessments, planning, design, configuration, installation, and support of the solutions offered by the practice.\nAttending seminars as requested by the Professional Services Management Team.\nTravel: To Customer sites as needed. Access to a vehicle is required.\nInteract with clients to resolve any issues before, during, or after service engagements.\nAfter hours/weekend trouble escalations and scheduled work when needed.\nProvide continued input to management regarding new ideas and concepts to improve overall quality of service to our clients and partners.\nAcquire technical certifications per training plan.\nSupport presales with solution scoping\nOffering development, validating new solutions and creating technical runbooks\nMentoring junior technical resources\nOther responsibilities as assigned.\nQualifications\nThe following are minimum qualifications and requirements required for this role:\n 7+ years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. \nArchitect experience with the ability to collect and develop business and technical requirements.\nHighly flexible, self-directed and with ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.\nDemonstrated verbal and written communication skills and the ability to multitask are essential.\nComfortable, poised, and affable with customers from end users to senior level executives.\nCandidates must have strong interpersonal as well as analytical troubleshooting skills.\nAbility to travel to client premises if needed.\nAbility to work evenings and weekends as required during client cutovers.\nMust be able to effectively work in a team environment.\nOrganizational skills and multitasking are required for independent work.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nMust have reliable transportation.\nMust supply reliable cell phone.\nAdvanced to expert knowledge of Juniper: MIST, Switch.
