This role requires a strong passion for women's soccer, hands-on experience pitching and producing social video content, and a proven ability to craft engaging short-form narratives in a fast-paced environment.\nWorking closely with the broader Marketing team, you will help celebrate and elevate the most impactful stories across the League, Clubs, and Players-both on and off the pitch.\nWhat You Will Own, Drive & Contribute To\nDigital Video Editing: Edit engaging video content for distribution across NWSL digital platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and NWSLSoccer.com.\nSponsored Content: Produce and edit a high volume of sponsored video content on weekly deadlines and tight turnarounds.\nRapid Turnaround Projects: Concept, edit, and publish weekly dynamic video content to capture timely moments and league storylines.\nCollaborative Creation: Partner closely with the Content team to brainstorm, craft, and execute compelling video concepts.\nAsset Management & Archiving: Subclip weekly footage and assist the Content team with organizing and archiving projects and raw video assets.\nMatchday Coverage: Maintain availability for matchnight coverage and real-time content needs throughout the season.\nWhat You Will Bring\nCore Qualifications\nExperience: 3+ years of experience producing and editing high-engagement digital video content (soccer experience preferred).\nTechnical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Suite; Light proficiency in After Effects or motion graphics preferred\nSocial Expertise: Strong understanding of social video formats, storytelling techniques, and optimizing for platform-specific best practices.\nRights & Clearances: General knowledge of music, licensing, and footage clearance processes.\nAgility & Feedback: Comfort receiving and implementing editorial feedback efficiently under tight deadlines.\nPortfolio: A link to a video editing reel or portfolio showcasing relevant work is required.\nAgility & Independence: Thrives operating autonomously in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail.\nOur Investment in You\nIn addition to working in an incredible, inclusive, and committed-to-diversity culture, we offer:\nCompetitive Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 (Salary is contingent upon candidate qualifications and functional business needs).\nTime & Flexibility: Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO), sick days, and an end-of-year office closure.\nHybrid Work Model: Three days in-office and two remote days per week.\nRobust Health Coverage: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Mental Health benefits for employees and dependents.\nFinancial Future: 401k with employer match and safe harbor contributions.\nComprehensive Benefits & Perks: Commuter Benefits, Short/Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, Gym On-Site, Voluntary Pet Insurance, and more!\nCommitment to Diversity and Inclusion\nThe NWSL is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.\nWe celebrate diversity and are deeply committed to creating an inclusive and equitable environment for all employees.
