Our work focuses on the lower levels of the operating system such as the kernel, as well as delivering fully functional Yocto Linux images.\nTesting and validation are a crucial part in the development process to ensure high quality operating system stacks for our microprocessors. Having the best infrastructure and tools in our software process is key for delivering on time quality software. We are looking for people with operating systems knowledge, proactive and eager to learn, to help us design, implement and execute test cases and automated tests for our Linux BSP project, as well as contributing to the continuous testing environment. You will be interacting with Linux drivers/modules for various components, like connectivity, networking, graphics, AI/ML, security, audio/video technologies and others.\nYour Responsibilities:\nDrive testing and validation efforts for undergoing projects from requirements analysis to test plan definition\nDesign, write or update test plans and test cases for undergoing projects\nDrive test execution, failure analysis, solution finding and reporting\nAsses new features impact, cooperate and collaborate with stakeholders spread across multiple sites in different geographies in order to define and implement a clear test strategy\nDevelop and maintain automated test execution environments and scripts\nDevelop and enhance new or existing validation frameworks\nMonitor and analyze results of the automated tests suites ran\nHelp with the board farm setup and maintenance.\nYour profile:\nTo be successful in this role you need:\nTo understand test methodologies, processes and other test concepts.\nKnowledge of continuous integration and continuous testing processes and methodologies\nScripting experience - python, bash, other\nOperating systems experience - Linux\nExperience with tools - git, JIRA, Jenkins, Bamboo\nProgramming (C/C++) knowledge is a plus\nElectronics knowledge, experience in troubleshooting and debugging electronics is a plus.\nTo be collaborative, team oriented, open to dialog, feedback and knowledge sharing\nMinimum 3-4 years of experience in a similar role\nCreating Secure Connections and Infrastructure for a Smarter World\nNXP Semiconductors N.V.
