The silicon enablement team provides software development tools for advanced automotive SOCs (system-on-chip). These tools enable both pre-silicon and production software development for automotive SOCs.\nYour Responsibilities\nDesign and implement AI/ML compiler technologies, optimizing models for embedded hardware using C++ and LLVM to deliver high-performance inference across diverse semiconductor platforms.\nDesign and implement features related to compiler tools for ARM and RISC-V based CPU cores using compiler technology.\nWork in a technical role in compiler development, working with core architecture design teams as well as internal NXP compiler tools consumers.\nWork together with a worldwide development team contributing to design, development, and deployment cycle for NXP specific compiler features in the compiler framework\nWork closely with hardware architects and ML researchers, shaping how models are lowered, optimized, and executed on novel architectures. Strong focus on MLIR / graph compilers and end-to-end performance optimization.\nYour Profile\nUniversity degree: Computer Science / Computer Engineering with significant exposure/involvement with Machine Learning, Edge AI, and Embedded Systems\nYou have 5+ years of professional experience in compiler technologies (LLVM/MLIR, LLVM IR, Clang, LLVM Pass Framework, Optimization Pipelines, Code Generation, Linkers)\nExperience with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.) and software stack (e.g., ONNX, MLIR, XLA, TVM, TensorRT, etc.) \nExpertise in writing production quality Python and C++ code\nBe able to analyze problems in complex compiler code bases and come up with concise, accurate solutions in a timely fashion.\nExperience in graph compiler passes optimization for AI workloads, lowering models (PyTorch / TensorFlow) into efficient IR\nExperience with graph-level optimizations (fusion, tiling, scheduling)\nExperience in analyzing compiler generated code using simulators, profilers, and analysis tools to improve code generation quality\nEmbedded systems programming experience and knowledge of the requirements of compilers for embedded systems.\nUnderstanding of computer architecture, including caches, pipelines, and instruction set architectures\nGood communication skills and be able to work effectively with remote teams in a worldwide virtual work environment\nExperience with contributing to the open-source community\nCreating Secure Connections and Infrastructure for a Smarter World\nNXP Semiconductors N.V.
