The engineer will play a key role in architecture definition, platform bring-up, OpenBMC enablement, server integration, customer engagement, and ecosystem development for data center and infrastructure applications.\nThe role involves close collaboration with hardware, software, system architecture, product management, and ecosystem partners to deliver production-quality BMC reference solutions and customer-specific enablement projects.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead system architecture, bring-up, validation, and debugging of BMC platforms based on NXP i.MX processors.\nDevelop and integrate OpenBMC software components including:Redfish\nIPMI\nMCTP\nPLDM\nSensor management\nEvent logging and health monitoring\n\nEnable and validate host management functions including:Power sequencing and control\nThermal management\nInventory management\nFirmware update mechanisms\nRemote management capabilities\n\nDrive server platform integration using industry-standard interfaces such as PCIe, USB, I2C, I3C, SMBus, UART, Ethernet, and GPIO.\nSupport DC-SCM and OCP-compliant BMC architectures.\nDevelop Linux BSP and device driver enhancements required for BMC applications.\nWork with ecosystem partners and customers to customize and productize BMC solutions.\nSupport customer design-ins, proof-of-concepts, demos, and technical escalations.\nContribute to open-source communities and upstream OpenBMC development whenever applicable.\nCreate technical documentation, application notes, design guidelines, and reference collateral.\nParticipate in design reviews, architecture reviews, and customer workshops.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.\n10+ years of experience in embedded systems, server management, networking, or platform software development.\nStrong expertise in Linux-based embedded systems.\nHands-on experience with OpenBMC or similar management controller solutions.\nStrong understanding of:BMC architecture\nServer platforms\nDatacenter infrastructure\nOut-of-band management\n\nExperience with C/C++ programming and embedded Linux application development.\nExperience with Yocto-based Linux distributions.\nStrong debugging skills using hardware and software tools.\nFamiliarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development workflows.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Redfish, IPMI, PLDM, MCTP, NC-SI, SMBus, or I3C.\nExperience with server hardware design and validation.\nKnowledge of PCIe endpoint/root complex architecture.\nExperience with security technologies such as:Secure boot\nRoot of Trust\nTPM\nFirmware attestation\n\nFamiliarity with OCP, DC-SCM, and Open Compute platforms.\nExperience working with hyperscale or enterprise server customers.\nPrior contribution to open-source projects.\nDesired Competencies\nStrong system-level problem-solving skills.\nAbility
