Learn more at nxtpointlogistics.com.\nSUMMARY:\nProviding administrative support for various activities and functions associated with hiring and on-boarding new employees, Key Performance Indicators (KPI) metrics, departmental presentations, and assist with special projects. Provide intra-department assistance for various operational support departments.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nMaintain the integrity of documentation files, electronic document directories, database files, and hardcopy records. Prepare, create, and analyze reports and statistics as required.\nPrepare any presentations needed by management concerning departmental Key Performance Indicator metrics.\nAssist with recruiting and screening potential job applicants.\nSet-up equipment screening classes for potential job applicants.\nProcess paperwork for new employees.\nSet-up medical testing for new employees.\nSet-up equipment testing for new employees.\nAct as Departmental Administrator for the following:Compliance Wire eLearning Management System.\nPowered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) training program.\n5S Program.\nQUMAS Document Compliance Management System.\nMaterial Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) Pro.\nEmergency Evacuation Coordinator.\n\nGathers, organizes, summarizes, and indexes documents from various sources.\nAssist with departmental presentations/meetings; take minutes and record action items.\nMaintain excellent working relationships with all of Suddath and client operational support personnel both Direct and Indirect, by responding to all inquiries and emails, etc. in a courteous and efficient manner.\nPerforms all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.\nComplete special projects, duties, and assignments, as appropriate.\nOther duties as assigned.\nEDUCATION:\nHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent required. Minimum of 2 years direct or active office experience preferred.\nSKILLS/PROFICIENCIES:\nExcellent communications skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills are required and ability to focus on details for long periods of time.\nProficiency with common software (E.g.
